Dear PK Tennis members,
The new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come in to force on May 25th 2018 ensuring that every individual's right to privacy is fully protected.
Because PK Tennis is a Tennis Coaching Company to which you have paid a fee to have coaching, PK Tennis Ltd have what is known as a ‘legitimate interest’ to hold and use your personal data to fulfil our commitments to you as a club member. Your privacy is important to us, so we’ll always keep your details secure and never use them for marketing communications that you haven’t agreed to receive (see What you need to give us consent for below).
The personal data we hold, how we use it, and who we share it with, is detailed in our Privacy Policy below.
What information we hold
Your name, address, phone number(s), email address, membership category, membership fee payments and donations (and Gift Aid details where applicable), and any relevant medical information you’ve given us. For children, we also keep date of birth, and parent/guardian’s contact details.
How we collected it
From registration forms, emails you completed when you joined or renewed your coaching, From on line applications that you complete. From the tennis clubs that you are associated to, which PK Tennis Ltd provides the coaching for.
Why we keep it
To contact you about respective club matters, tennis camps, tennis equipment and special deals through PK Sports, New courses. To move you or your child/children to a different group, remind you of your course renewal, , competitions & tournaments, and other important club announcements or events.
What information we share
We only share your information with our coaching organisation so they can provide members with discounted coaching, and contact you about any coaching which might be of interest to you.
What you need to give us consent for
We do not need your consent to inform you about club matters, your membership, events and competitions etc. However, if you wish to receive direct marketing emails from PK Tennis Ltd or our associated companies, you need to reply to me before 25th May 2018 by saying either:
· Yes please send me direct marketing emails
or
· No thanks do not send me direct marketing emails.
